- Jade is a retired specialty performance artist, novelist, and internet editorialist (blogger).
She has been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), PTSD, Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), a polyneuropathy-based fibromyalgia, and cooties.
This online journal is currently about her recovery from PTSD, a nasty self-harm addiction (manifesting in drinking, drugging, cutting, and repetitive suicide attempts), compulsive behaviors (like shopping), and her struggle with a painful chronic long-term illness. She hopes that what she learns along the way will be of benefit to others, too.
She is passionate about philosophy, biology, cynical metaphysics, psychology, and a couple other 'ologies' she probably can't remember due to living in fibro-fog.
She likes fire but has never burned anything down.
