Happy Chinese New Year!

My baking mania has devolved into cooking and the Food Network. I'm enthused with the idea of entiring the Ultimate Recipe Showdown for Season 3 and am constructing some yummy Hot n'Spicy ideas.

Here's what I've got so far:

For the main recipe (one hour to cook), a Cajun 'fajita' of Tasso ham and shrimp (crawfish?) instead of skirt steak. I want homemade corn tortillas and a blend of roux, fajita spices, and a fiery green chili sauce.

For the speed round (30 minutes to cook), I'm thinking Wasabi-crusted chickenstrips with soy-ginger green beans. I'm not sure if that will have the 'kick' I desire. I might adjust that to a Thai green-bean/papaya salad.

Makes you hungry, doesn't it?
